Field trips are an extension of the academic and educational program at HomeSource.
If you choose to sign up for a field trip at HomeSource, please remember the following:
- Sign up for the field trip at the reception desk by the deadline listed (At times we may allow registrations past the deadline. That decision is made by the Field Trip Coordinator.)
- Show up at the appointed time (usually 15 minutes before the start of the trip) and check in with the Field Trip Leader.
- If you show up late for a trip, we cannot guarantee that you will have your admission paid for.
- Follow the directions of the Field Trip Leader. Your family may be placed in a grouping that separates friends. Please prepare your children by letting them know that they may be meeting some new friends on field trips.
- Stay for the time listed for the length of the field trip
- Bring only those you have signed up for the field trip
- As primary educator, you are responsible for the behavior of your children or your child designates on all field trips. You and your children are representatives of homeschooling and HomeSource. We want to have our children invited back.
- Parent designees may bring students of all ages on field trips, but you may only designate for K-8 students on a 1 to 1 ratio for your own students. You must sign up for the trip with the children that you are taking and your name should be listed. A parent designee form must be signed by the parent
- If you cannot attend the field trip due to an illness or emergency, you must call HomeSource at 689-9959 to indicate that you will not be attending. Refunds or credits will be given if HomeSource has not incurred any cost for your family. If any additional costs are incurred to HomeSource because of a student's absence, the family may be billed.
